Sue Halloran

SUSAN HALLORAN loves all aspects of performing. Starting with the theater she enjoyed roles like Lily in Carnival, Gouch in Mame and Hedy la Rue in How To Succeed in Business.
Performing in clubs and coContacts led her to an exciting eight-year run so far, doing radio and T.V. commercials. Landing solo accounts with McDonald's, AT&T, Hertz, and Woman's Day Magazine, just to mention a few. Sue has been back-up vocalist for major recording artists from Paul Anka to David Byrne of the Talking Heads.    She has sung with many groups starting in the 70s performing on variety shows such as Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin and Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. She's been going ever since, traveling the U.S. and Europe, and her home base, New York. concerts with Doc Severinson, Peter Duchin and the Elgart Orchestras,
Sue also enjoyed a three year engagement as the lead singer with the Red Parrot big band at the beautiful and "happening" Red Parrot Night Cllub in midtown Manhattan. She has shared concert stages with Phil Woods, the late great Cab Callorway, and Sarah Vaughn.
If asked about an engagement that was very special, the reply would have to be New York's Annual All Star Jazz Nativity, where one of the kings was played by no other than the late, great "Mambo King" himself, Tito Puente.
